Fifteen dancers from various age groups within the Formosan Dance Crew participated in the event, showcasing their enthusiastic support for Taiwanese music and culture. Crew leader Hsin-Yi Kao shared that the event held special significance, highlighting how many members overcame their initial fears of dancing to perform confidently and express themselves on stage. The vibrant environment encouraged passersby to stop and appreciate the performances, with many young children eagerly joining the dancers on stage, creating a heartwarming scene.
Kao emphasized that the Double Tenth Dance Showcase not only celebrated Taiwan’s national day but also passionately presented Taiwanese culture. Each dance step conveyed the love for their homeland and their passion for dance, telling the unique stories of Taiwan through movement. The event also featured complimentary drinks sponsored by Formosa Aroma, allowing the audience to savor authentic Taiwanese flavors while enjoying the performances.
